The ML Item Recommendations Report

The ML Item Recommendations Report can be found in the Reporting section of the Next Gen Portal.

This report lets you view item recommendation metrics at the summary and individual item levels. You can select up to 45 days before the current date or back to your brand’s start date, whichever is later. 

Be sure you have an Account Group selected or applied to your user to view all the reports.

Recipients

You can select if you want to show all recipients or engaged recipients.

All: This shows metrics for all recipients who received recommendations.
Engaged: This only shows metrics for recipients who opened an email or clicked on a mobile message with recommendations.

Filters

You can target specific data within your report by selecting from More Filters. These filters include:

Segment: Allows you to filter transactions by segment.
Messages: Allows you to filter by message. Note that you can only filter from communications sent in the last 45 days.

Once you have the filters you want in place, click the Update button to update your report.

Stacked Column Charts

This chart will graph customers and products broken out by the percentage that fell into the Personalized and Backup recommendations groups. The tooltip will display both the percentage and count on hover.

The Guests Chart
This shows the percentage of guests who received mostly personalized recommendations vs mostly backup recommendations. Customers with no/little purchase data or purchases excluded items are given fallback items, or these backup recommendations. 

Note that individuals may be counted multiple times in this chart. For example, if a guest receives 2 emails with 3 recommendations each, this data will show as 2 guests with 6 recommendations.

The Items Chart 
This shows the percentage of personalized item recommendations sent versus backup items.

Table

This table will break out your top 20 most recommended products. The columns displayed will include the following information:

The SKU associated with the item.

The name of the item.

The count of guests that were recommended this item.

The percentage of guests that were recommended this item.

The count of guests that were recommended this as a personalized item.

The percentage of guests that were recommended this as a personalized item.

The count of guests that were recommended this as a backup item.

The percentage of guests that were recommended this as a backup item.
